There has been a bunny living on my property for a few months. Today he came right up to me and I just picked him up. I don't think he's indigenous as I've never seen a bunny like him in the wild. He's covered in fleas! What should I do to remove them?

your rabbit is not aggressive at all... one of my rabbit won't allow me to grab her and she fights extremely aggressively if I try to hold her... so I am not able to clip her nails in last 1+ years and sadly her nail is overgrown... I don't know what to do since I feel that if I really forced her to be held, she will have heart attack

I finally find out why my female cat uses the litterbox with only one paw in the box! All this time, I thought she was just being a lady! I used to use a regular plastic container when I had one cat. I then switched to jumbo boxes, but I see signs that they hate them. I knew most of the info you provided - except for that one elimination behavior that had me baffled. Thank you!

I’ve used a pine pellet-based cat litter for years. It absorbed odors well, and my cats were happy with it, so it was a win-win. Recently, however, my home was infested with bull ants, which are known for their extremely painful bites. The exterminator I hired identified the ants as being attracted to the sugar in the wood pellets.

I am happy to learn a better way to do the mani pedi. I've been holding Frodo on my lap.

I’m gonna be honest here… most lop rabbits and most rabbits in general are very tolerant to things like vacuuming, loud noises and little things like walking into a room…. That’s IF AND ONLY IF they were not put through trauma themselves. The way you say your rabbit would fall off of things, tells me this rabbit experienced trauma… pretty harsh trauma. I’ve fostered many rabbits as well…. I’ve never seen a rabbit do what you explained. Also rabbits don’t need a companion for cleaning. I actually have a video of one of my rabbits wetting her paw and cleaning her whole face. But rabbits are super social so it is just nice to have a bun companion. I’m so glad to have the education I do and be able to recognize things like infections and go to my local feed store and buy things like antibiotics, creams ext. Animals, especially prey type animals may require special care… I don’t recommend you have animals if it causes this bad of PTSD. Just being honest. If they cause trauma but not healing, I’d recommend healing first. Your bunny lived pretty long for a blind rabbit. It’s not uncommon for animals to go through trauma when they get old. Death sucks but it’s just something every living things goes through. I have been following many different breeders and I’m gonna be honest, I’ve never heard such a traumatic story. Your rabbit was old darling. Your bunny just seemed old. And that kind of stuff especially anesthesia is super hard on a little rabbit. I’ve seen many die when I volunteer at the humane society from being fixed. Your rabbit didn’t seem to have health issues other than the blindness. The tear ducts become overactive at old age also… in most animals… so it seems like your doctors where just going to milk you for your pocketbook if your willing to pay. Sorry to hear you had such a traumatic experience. I hope you have healed or you have gotten help 🙏

I thought I was giving my cat the king treatment by having both of his litter boxes be a size “jumbo” :( sorry scrim. He’s never covered his #2 after using a box and tends to scratch the outside walls instead. That’s what led me to this video actually. Every time he goes #2, the entire house reeks now that he’s been switched to a prescription cat food. I wonder if getting a large tub would change that behavior! I’ve never even questioned it. Thank you for doing such an in depth video. You explained all of the whys!

Very strange emergency bag...what about tourniquet, chest seal and israely bandages ? All those fluids, the vet has those you don't need them, you need life saving things to get your dog to the vet without him dying !

One thing I've heard that if you have your rabbit chewing on anything else in the house then what you need to do is this make sure that you tell your rabbit not to poop in the house at all, that's why the cage is right there he can just use the litter box inside the cage and nothing will happen all you have to do is make sure that the litter boxes in plain sight for the rabbit to go in.

Rabbits can be litter-trained without neutering. Mine 2 are smart though. Females Juno (brown cinnamon) and Ilya (grey chinchilla) understand to do the peeing in the toilet box (made by me). As to pooping they target the toilet but are less accurate as to where to leave a couple of dungs. I don't mind that much as well as long as they pee in the toilet which they usually do. They choose their locations which are upon analysis, safe spots such as on wood chip substrate. Each his own I guess but I abandoned the practice of neutering which I had done once. It made me think.

currently bonding mine right now in a cardboard box. the new bun is 3 yrs old and has never interacted with any other bunny (besides in a litter). she is very shy and timid so she's giving off submissive energy to my other bun who is a male. he keeps humping her and she doesn't fight back or do anything except "go into her shell." there have been moments where the male would lay next to her, but as soon as she lifts her head up, he instantly goes to hump her. reallllly hope this works out.

My Flemish Giant lived to 9 years, he had arthritis in his hips so we were prescribed rhumicam, he loved it mixed with banana, never missed a day. When he refused his favorite treats and his banana mix, I forcefed him some painkiller and brought him in for the last check up. Ya I new to this I adopted a bunny three days ago he neutered 3 years old but he keeps taking out all this litter box and putting on the floor and peeing there but I do have potty pads down . So I’m going to try different litter and box because I have the news for litter and a corner box which she said they don’t like .

I am currently bonding my two buns! Fluffy is a male, and Coco is a female. They have a 2-3 year age gap, so I was a bit worried, but I noticed that Coco doesn’t see fluffy(who is smaller) as a threat, and on day three, both of them groomed each other! We only did 40 minutes of bonding in total during the 3 days and I think it is so great! I do know that it can all change in a snap, but it’s going well (for now) Thank you so much @101Rabbits I watched all ur vids on bonding!
